Just purchased 1936 Restromod Ford pickup that needed serious attention. The owner and mechanic gave my truck their full and careful attention. Autoworks will be our go to shop as long as we own the truck.

This was my first visit to Lake City Autoworks. I needed an oil change and a/c inspection to see why it wasn't blowing cold air. I chose this shop because of the multiple 5-star reviews. Well, here's another 5-star review. I interacted 100% with Taylor. She is warm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about car repairs. She answered all of my questions both before and after the work was done. The oil change was less than I usually pay for synthetic oil, and the a/c inspection and work was a little higher than some shops, but they are definitely worth it. They put a legible "next oil change" sticker on my windshield, and the a/c is blowing cold! When I went back for the car, Taylor had a color printout (with photos) of issues found in the inspection, rated red, yellow, and green. Three repairs were recommended. Only one needs to be done soon (red). I'm taking my car in this week for the one repair and am confident it will be done right. The only thing some people might not like is that they had the car all day, but that's understandable; they were already busy by 9 a.m. And yet I never felt ignored or rushed. Taylor said they've been in business for 40 years and I can believe it!

They replaced a part for the second time under their warranty. No charge.
